I'm still alive

Hi all,

I keep getting e-mails from people wondering where I am. Well I’m still here, just very busy with a design project for a big underground conversion. So I will be scarce for a while. And to those that e-mailed me…Thanks for careing [:D]

Have a great day everyone.

And for that we are glad. Now leave the popcorn machine!

I was wondering where you were. Good luck with your project.

Underground conversion? Sounds like some real secret thing. Maybe getting cable hookup to that special fleet of boxcars?[(-D][(-D]

Glad to hear you’re still alive, it sure beats the alternative!

I was missing the Popcorn![(-D][(-D]

And its owner…[#oops]

Good to hear from you, Chad- was about to put out a forum APB.

In honor of Chad, my next sandwich will be from Subway.

(Underground–get it?)

Just come around soon, so we can talk about sites in California (above ground, that is!).

3 loads of popcorn to california please for chad.good luck on the projet

stay safe

Joe

That, and we still haven’t seen your pictures from your trip out my way!

welcome back. I’ve been missing you, …several times, in fact.

Funny you should mention that…It took a few hours, but I finally found the time over the last two days to get them uploaded. It was a bit more of a task then usual because I had to re sort all the filenames to mix my pictures with my dads and still be in chronological order.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I miss hanging out here in the forum but duty calls at the moment.

The good news is I now have internet access at home. I recently got my ATCS monitor going and that gave me motivation to get internet at home so I could monitor train activity on the surf line. As some of you kn ow I run a small independent cable company and we are overbuild in direct competition with COX cable. Well I live in a building served by COX and even though I get a gratis cable service they still want $50 a month for internet. So I strung 2 blocks worth of plant down my street to get my cable service with internet here in my apartment. I’m probably the only person in town that has two cable companys service in one apartment.

Anyway you all behave yourselves while I’m away. Till then Godspeed!!!

You aren’t the guy with the Reason Foundation who proposed to us here in Atlanta, GA that we dig over 20 miles of tunnels for our autos to drive in under the city instead of building commuter rail are you? if this project is anything like Boston’s Big Dig and end up costing three times the estimated amount, Georgians will end up with a $75 billion bill.

Chad; Thanks for letting us know how you’re doing!!!
Hope everything continues to go well.
(you need to come to Louisville and straighten out their cable service)

AntiGates, very Glad you’re missing him in that respect;just make sure you Miss
The Popcorn Machine Also!!![;)][swg]
