[edit from my son: Just one correction. This layout is at the SCMaglev and Railway Park in the city of Nagoya. It’s JR Central’s (Central Japan Railway Company) museum.]

You may well have seem this layout before in the forum, and there are some Youtube videos. However, I have not seen many of these type of photos. I took them from the official guide book of the museum which my son obtained on his recent visit. I do not think the railway or museum would mind the extra publicity.

Sorry for the low quality and perhaps slight distortion taken as they were from a booklet. Also, not being able to read Japanese, I was not able to annotate the shots.

Could not get a good example of the impressive model of the Tokyo main station from the fold out booklet. That feature is best seen in the Youtube video … search Saitama Nagoya JR Museum.

Nifty. When I wonder if I’m being patient enough with my modeling I’ll try to recall the number of figures at the rock concert.

That’s some impressive modeling. Glad to hear it’s at the JNR museum, as that was already on the iteneary for my first trip to Japan, My wife is a Navy brat and lived there for years, speaks fluent, native-accented Japanese, so I’ll have good translation when needed.
