I was browsing through Youtube this afternoon and found these. I think they are quite impressive, particularly the first one. I enjoy the fact that the engineer still did the correct horn sequence for the grade crossings, even while putting distance between himself and a tornado.

I have no sound on this computer any more, so I’m assuming that the EJ&E crew had permission to make that move. As for the crossing signals, even something like this wouldn’t relieve an engineer of his responsibilities–he would have been facing the direction of the movement and oblivious to the storm were it not for the others in the cab, no doubt giving a play-by-play.
