Impudent Remark

I can’t believe it: the mild euphemism d@ng" was replaced with three asterisks by auto-censor.

Good grief, what’s next? “Good grief”?

There are a few railroading terms and devices (air brake handle thingee) [;)] that could be perceived as foul language.

If you mean what people commonly call a (male) rooster, that gets blipped too!

Try it with an accent: Daaaang!

…I saw Adrian’s “d@ng” made it thru…I’m not even sure this one will as it just turned to the color blue…???

Careful, or they’ll lock this thread too.

how refreshing - a censor that blushes!

Hi!

Born and raised in Chicago, “those words” are no stranger to me and surely don’t bother me all that much. But, as this is a “G” rated forum with a lot of young folks participating, some poor soul has to draw a line on what’s acceptable and what isn’t. I would not want that job.

Ha, after living in Texas since 1977, I have learned to appreciate the Texas/southern sayings and “expletives” and suspect that many of them would give a northerner censor a run for the money…

ENJOY,

Quentin, the Forum software believes that that is an email address.

…I wondered about that Dale…Had something to do with a computer address but just wondered why with “that” word…Guess it was the ampersand.

I learned something today. Hooray, Hooray!

…Wow…I stand corrected.

dang angel cock?

Well, if you have to use dingbats, might as well be bold about it. - a.s.

angel = heavenly spirit

angle = measures intersecting lines

anglecock is a pretty routine word, like NBC = “Proud as a Peacock”.

Pushin it there, Al.
