Railroads are a odd place to work. they can be great jobs but also they are very miltary oriented. i was a trackman and a bridge"operator" in the late 70s and early 80s. everyone was listed by their initials such as j p boomer or j q public. i was charged with “insabordination” i cant even spell it. people would do nothing all day then want to stay for overtime. a lot of waste just company screwing workers and visa versa. anyway i guess things have not changed much.a great job and a miserable job all at the same time.
Sorry, but I just can’t seem to see what your point is here…what strike?
somebody else wrote that union pacific is trying to stop a bmwe strike.
