Good idea! Call them and get em to donate one and tell them Kalbach will publish a review after the move.[;)]
I’m sure if you came to work dressed like Ed Grimley it might help the situation…“You know I have all these trains in my cube and I was wondering if I could put them in your office for a while since you have such a large luxurious office I must say”.
Simply have your shipping department pack it up and then ship it all to me. I’ll gladly ship it all back the next day. Let the folks at UPS take the liability!(just kidding UPS people, I know you never break anything)
I would be glad to pack up your things using the proven methods of my overseas move that I described above. Even though we have not met, I am trustworthy. All you need to do is buy a round trip ticket for me from Portland, ME (PWM) to a nearby airport, and a hotel reservation (or your spare bedroom). A rental car is not necessary if you can pick me up. I have always wanted to see the MR&T. [:D][:D][:D][:D][swg]
Hey, I just wanted to share what I was talking about earlier about boxes. Yes, I;m not using divders and probably should but they work beautifully for me.
(there’s two of the seciond one)
These are European Orient EXpress cars of old, someBmann, Rivarossie, Lima, playcraft baggage, and an Accuraik that was serving coupler chageout as a second baggage. (I;d seen similar and needed a transfer car)
This is just loose trains,
The Spectrum George Washington. The tender is in shop waiting for me to figure out how to work a soldering iron. Teh second pic is showing the extra room. So anyone with Express freight or any of the Branchline Cars to boost train length, there’s still room. Or fuill it with a roleld up piece of bubblewrap scrap or loose foam from MR&T projects you might have.
It;s all self stableizing. There;s not enough room for them to shift and hurt themselves, ebough height to clear two layers of cars. Nad you aren;t forcing things in either.
Just to show further succsess with computer boxes, this is Walther’s Tracks In the Sand plus an Athearn Genesis (P42 not brand) missing the box but with insert,. Note how the Walthers and the P42 fit in snug as a rugbug.
So, this stir up any ideas?
