Has anyone every done an indoor garden railway? I have indoor plants and N gauge trains and see a sci-fi layout when I look at my potted plants. The reason why I ask is I don’t know how to cover the edge of my pots if I should.

Indoor garden railways are quite common, but for N scale not so much. I model in N scale to besides G scale. All I can say is that construct an elavated track next to your plants to make maintence easy and to keep rubbish from your plants off your track. If your going to be running the train in the pots, I would suggest make a firm base in the soil to keep dirt off the track and the train on it. And you’ll probably need alot of bridges for the pot idea! Happy modeling. - Peter
