Industrial switching

My computer crashed and burned!!!

Now I am in the process of building up my favorite sites. I must of had 100’s of

web pages saved on a multitude of topics, all on model railroading.

I am looking for switching track plans. I am ready to start my industrial/factory

section on the layout and am looking for some resources to check out.

Thanks for your response

Sorry to hear about your computer crash!

Let’s see…?

  1. You could begin with the recent Kalmbach book on industrial layouts (sorry I can’t remember the exact title, can one of you other guys help me out here?[:I])
  2. There is a NMRA ‘spinoff’ group called the Railroad Industrial SIG (http://trainweb.org/rrisig/), which is 75% steel mill modelers but other types of industry as well;
  3. Use the trains.com ‘advanced’ search engine, with a wide-enough date range - that will give you something, but you may need to sift thru a lot.

Good Luck!
