Industry Ideas?

Have you considered a warehouse for either a supermarket or big box store? Sears had an eight story warehouse in North Philly that got 20 cars a day of appliances alone that were then trucked to various stores. Acme market had a warehouse also that got everything from fruits and vegetables to cereal and soap. It had its own yard. Both could be serviced from a nearby yard on an hourly basis.

True and that’s the modeler’s rights if he so chooses that path.

However…

I found being a ex railroader,a life long railfan along with 55 years of studying prototype railroads can be a curse at times–especially if I try to justify a very simple thing…

How about CCM Hockey Equipment? Lumber cars for the old wood hockey sticks, Pellet hoppers for helmuts and pads. Boxcars for premade skate blades. Boxcars for textiles for pads and jersey’s and to manufacture crying towels for the Montreal fans.[swg]
