On a rail realated note I wonder how this would compare to a Interurban Map of Indy in say 1930?

I seem to remember that the Beltway was indeed a beltway, pretty far removed from the city proper. So one wouldn’t expect any bus routes outside it, except for perhaps along the major old highways.
Comparing a city bus system to the Interurbans of 75-80 years ago serves no real purpose. Although I’m sure you could hop on or hop off the interurbans at designated points within (or without) the Beltway, they were meant for traveling between Indianapolis and other Indiana cities of the time.
