Does anyone out there own or familiar with the Williams E-7 or the New Lionel Classic FM trainmaster locos. How does the Williams FM compare with the Lionel FM as far as sound system ect and which one would you like to own if you had the choice. I am thinking about aquiring both of these items and any inside info would be appreciated. I don’t own any Williams products yet but have heard good things about them. Thanks STEVE
I have a Williams E-7. It is a very smooth runner and pulls stumps. A big bang for the buck. It is scale and the proportions, detail, and stance is excellent. It has a True Blast II horn that sounds sweet. It’s programed to give off a grade crossing signal however when you depress the horn button.
Thanks for the info John. I still have heard nothing but good things about the Williams products. I think I will do the deal with the E-7. Now just need to decide between the Lionel and Williams FM trainmasters. Thanks STEVE
The only Williams I have is the Cab Forward … beautiful … strong … durable engines . I think they’ll be around as long as older lionels … steamers of course .
ADD-ON ---- Just bought another williams cab forward last night … this post made me remember how darn great they are …
