Tell me what you think of this please!
Nice details. Love all the decals on it. Is that your handy work?
Nice locos in your roster. WSOR engines look really nice. Have fun. #2250 is terrific, by gosh.
Thanks fellas. Yes all the ‘work’ on the ex-UP engines is my handywork. In my mind the CNW bought out the UP back in '95.
Where did you get all the small detail decals from? I think those really “make” a paint job.
Looks great! Are you going to add a interior to the cab?
very, very nice seen alot of these, going up in Omaha, Council bluffs

I got the mini decals from Microscale from the various CNW sets I had laying around. I don’t plan on adding a cab interior at this time but I may depending on what I do with the rest of my fleet in my roster (seen below).
I Love It! We Should Post That Also in http://www.trains.com/TRC/CS/forums/490134/ShowPost.aspx

Thanks for the feedback. My next project will be an SD70 or 80. I’m trying to think of a new scheme unless I take some kind of combination of UP/CNW colors. Any ideas?
What I think would be cool is to have UP buy one of the CNW Z stripe scheams, and then patch the orginal CNW locomotive number on the long hood, but UP put there locomotive number on the side of the cab over the CNW logo. Then CNW bought it back and re-patched there loco number on the side of the cab where UP put there’s. But the UP patch on the hood faded and the orginal loco number appeared.
Wouldn’t it be easier to not have it UP? Could be cool tho…
How About The BNSF Executive Color with silver tank and truck’s. On my layout. I wanted to Merge Illinios Central & C&NW. Which would have been nice ICCNW.
Just my [2c]

Once I considered doing CNW/BN → BNW or something. I would have had some kind of cascade green/cnw green hybrid or black with TY(b) but never got around to doing it.
