I am looking at installing an MRC synchrosound decoder in an Atlas H116-44 locomotive. The question I have is how to wire the directional lights that change color depending on direction it is going. I know how to do the head lights, but not sure on the two side lights in the front and back.
The decoder you have probably doesn’t support the lighting feature. My limited experience with MRC sound decoders has not been favorable at all – about six of them that all burned out within two weeks. The only fortunate thing about this was that they belonged to another club member and not me. I gave up on MRC decoders years ago.
