Bowser/Stewart has a great ‘how to’ on their web page regarding using their DCC/Sound chassis with Athearn Genesis and Athearn BB bodies. Caused me wonder about the interchangeability of other bodies such as Atlas, P2K, etc. on these chassis’ and also the BLI Bluelines. Any others?
What has your experience been?
Well, Some older BB bodies were wider than the newer bodies, and it seems that even the new bodies from all companys are a different thickness of the plastic inside, that eats out space too. and then you get into interior issues. It is doable, but may require fudging. For the same price, it’s easier to just add the sounds to the other companies.
