I found these on the BNSF web site and I thought I’d bring them to your attention. I found them amazing. 48 BNSF coal trains/day out of the Powder River Basin - some of them 150 cars long! Intermodal growing and growing and growing!

Guys guys guys. The billions of freight cars are made up wink wink. They put them in the books for hump yards that are not making quota ( easier than rehumping cars to make the goal just make up a few billion railcars)
Velocity is the name of the game for BNSF maybe they are really making them cars fast so we will have billions sitting around for the customers needs. hehehe
Do the customers really care what BNSF has to build and maintain? Don’t they really just want their coal when they want it?
