Interesting EBAY prize Attn KALMBACH employees

MRR Guide

MR Guide 2

Found this interesting booklet as part of a lot of vintage Model Railroad catalogs and help booklets I won on the Bay a couple years ago. It contains names, addresses and phone numbers of Model Railroaders all over the country. Check out the name. I’ll gladly mail it to a Kalmbach employee if requested

Have a great day

great offer!

The Holy Grail…

PS: Let us know how this comes out.

Kinda surprised I didn’t even get a comment from Kalmbach.Guess I’ll keep it in my collection.

No response? I’d suppose they’ve probably got more of the late Mr. Kalmbach’s stuff on hand than they know what to do with as it is.

Certainly, keep it and enjoy it!

Great of you to make that offer.

Keep it Banks or make them pay like they do everyone else. Stupid is, what stupid does.

I can’t understand why they did not reply. Oh wait, I can. [swg]

probably…but I would have expected a reply saying " thank you for the kind offer, but we have a warehouse of similar items.

Hey Banks, I’m not always on this forum, but I think this is pretty neat. If you’d like to mail it to me c/o CTT, I’d be happy to bring it to the David P. Morgan library (our in-house library)! Po Box 1612, Waukesha WI 53187-1612.

Rene,

There’s a good chance I’ll be going to York in a couple weeks. Will you be there?

Unfortunately, no, I won’t be there, but Bob Keller will be and I will give him a head’s up that you might be dropping it off!

OK

I turned this over to Bob Keller at York. He was glad to get it. He said he’s going to add it to the display case connecting A.C.Kalmbach to the NMRA

I was pleasantly surprised to read FROM THE EDITOR in the August issue of MRR. Neal discussed the unique names that people gave their “Pike” back then. As well as the fact it was a directory of names and addresses of all NMRA members that wanted to be included. I was a bit disappointed he didn’t mention that it was addressed to A.C. Kalmbach
