Intermodal terminal layout

Hi All,

I have a small layout already in N scale 6ft x 2ft and would like to either add or make another intermodal terminal on a 4ft x 2ft board i am restricted for space living in a flat and so would like some ideas or plans for the terminal to include a crane like the big Heljan HO/OO one but in N scale of course i have the walthers hi jack container crane but want something more “beefy” for the layout it doesnt have to work neccesarily.

Also are there any reachstackers out there in N scale ?

Hi all,

I’ve had a rethink for the layout and now i can make it 2ft6’’ wide and a run of 7ft with another board at a right angle 6ft long so it is in an L shape, does this help any of you suggest a layout plan ?
