The usual question…What do you think about Intermountain Centralia Car shops H0 Pennsylvania RR Keystone Herald P85bR Coach? Has it the same Rapido Trains Super Continental Cars quality? Do you have one? Has it body applied couplers? Is it true H0 length? It should be one of my first USA cars… Can you give some advice to me?

I have the Centralia Pennsylvania P85br coach in N scale. Nice car; well detailed. It’s full length (85 feet). The keystone herald ones would have been from the 1960s; up through the 1950s they still had the name “PENNSYLVANIA” spelled out on the letterboard.
I don’t know what the differences are between their HO and N versions; I only have the N. However, I purchased some of their Reading RR commuter coaches for my father in HO and they were exquisite quality. Based on that I would recommend it.

Centralia makes some beautiful stuff and highly accurate too.
I have four of the Intermountain PRR coaches and they are very nice. Now they compare to the new cars is not important to me since these are PRR cars and detailed nicely.
I listed the Pennsylvania Railroad Technical & Historical Society below. They have a lot of information on the PRR if you are interested and many pictures along with reviews.
Be sure to check out the Keystone Modeler PDF magazine, too. It is absolutely amazing that you can downlaod and read this for FREE. High quality articles and plenty of photos and illustrations on modellign all aspects of the PRR. There should be a link right from the PRRTHS page listed above. Thanks Randy for the direct link. The Keystone Modler is very good. I can’t remember if they reviewed the coach in question but the Intermountain ones I have are very nice.
