Intermountain FT Derailment Problems

I just purchased an Intermountain N Scale FT AB set. The problem is the lead truck on the B Unit doesn’t seem to pivot freely. As such when the unit comes out of a curve and into a straightaway, the truck hangs up in the curved position and derails. I have noticed the problem does seem to occur in only two spots on the layout, so track work way be part of the problem. However the trucks on the A Unit pivot much more freely.

Has anybody had a similar problem? This one has me scratching my head.

Pull the shell off and make sure the truck is sitting in the frame correctly. You may have to loosen the screw that holds the frame haves together . The one thats closest to the truck thats giving you trouble.

Thanks for the suggestion, I disassembled and reassembled the B Unit and that was the ticket. Now the two units run perfectly.
