Intermountains ES44AC

Just wondering on the Product what people think?

I don’t think they have been released yet, but I may be wrong. I checked some of the online stores that I normally shop and all of them have them as advance reservation. I am still waiting on the BNSF units, but they will be released next month sometime.

The last I heard about one I pre-ordered nearly a year ago, they may not be available until March or April 2011.

The UP, CP and KCS Gevos have arrrived State-side. They were held up at Customs for a few days. They were on route to InterMountain as of late last week.

It’s just a matter of time before we see these models.

I did a search and found this site.

Sorry I can not figure out how to make a live link. Seems they had them in stock. Prices seems fair, all so with me thinking $200.00 is fair for a engine just goes to show I have been in the hobby to long! [:D]

Ken,.

This web site you reference shows every Intermountain ES4400AC as OUT OF STOCK.

Here’s a live link to their site:

Ken – the easiest way for me is hard-coding it with the [ url ] [ /url ] tags, sort of like using the [ img ][ /img ] tags for pictures (note I added spaces to make the tag show up.). The buttons in the editor don’t play nice for me all the time. There’s two ways you can do this:

  1. [ url ]some url[ /url ] – looks like this in the post http://www.dccinstalled.com/InterMountain-49706S-HO-Scale-ES44AC-DCC-GE-Demo-p/imrc-49706s.htm

  2. [ url=someurl ]word/phrase/sentence/whatever[ /url ] – looks like this in the post Check this out!

edit – to stay on topic[8D]:

Nope, sorry… these aren’t really my thing (modelling 194x), so I haven’t been watching out for them. Sorry [:(]

I talked to our hobby shop down here in Tucson AZ and they said that they can not get them at all.

It says Dec.1 2010, where I shop.

I had to have one so I just filled out the order form as they EM’d they will have them shortly; if you want the link, let me know.

Will have all 6(4 UP and 2 KCS) of mine at the Oklahoma City Train Show Dec 4-5 - Intermountain is bringing some to the show for its vendors and my dealer is getting a part of his order there.

Looking forward to running these with my MTH and Athearn ACe’s.

Try Ulrich models which is located down the street to the Intermountain facility. You can get one with sound for $200. They should be here anytime now.
