I have an International Hobby Productions 0-4-0 switcher. The one That I have is red on the top and green on the side. What year did IHC make this?
That may not be too helpful
What may be helpful is:
1} what are the markings on it?
2} what impressed numbers, names, logos appear on the bottom?
3} have you taken it apart and if so what numbers or idetifying marks did you find there?
You could try contacting them here:

A photo or two might help, also.
The company’s name was International Hobby Corporation. They were only importers, so the model is likely to have a different name on the bottom, such as Mehano, and it could say it was made in Hong Kong, Korea, Indonesia, Slovenia, or Czechoslovakia, depending on when it was made.
.
Probably not. The original IHC was based in Philly and went belly up something like two or three years ago. The owner passed away not long afterwards.
This company has obviously somehow acquired the trademark rights to the name, and is using it.
IHC’s Command XXV Line of steam locos was pretty good. I have two of them, and they look good and run extremely well.
