Internet 7 messing it up

Ok ,Gents’

The problem was internet 7. For some reason it was adding the border image source stuff and messing up me posting pics .So Thanks for everyones Help.

And here is a pic, layout still in work

Not bad. It’s farther along than mine is.

Talon,

I’m glad to see you finally took the advice I gave you 2 or 3 days ago…I told you the problem was IE7.0, but I guess you had to learn the hard way by beating your head against the brick wall for awhile instead of heeding other members advice [B)]…we were equally frustrated when we continued to watch you struggle instead of taking our suggestions. At least now you’re able to post a photo…

Thanks Jeff that is actually part of my first layout( restarted about 4 times) that was in my garage just now it is in a bed room and redone in another configuration.

Hey Don, thanks again …Yeah I know , I live with a college student (wife) taking computer courses that I had to argue with until this morning about it LOL. Took her looking at everyones replies and stuff to get her to understand it wasnt just me ! LMAO

Thanks again

Chris

And people wonder why I’m still using IE6-sp1. It’s because I know IE7 is full of bugs, like all MS programs.

Wait - she’s taking computer courses and STILL likes IE. I think she might want to get a refund[;)]… the profs here make us use IE (to debug out HTML with) because like everyone uses it - but even they say to steer clear of it.

For those interested: Firefox just released their v. 2.0 browser yesterday. I upgraded mine from v. 1.5 and it’s working great. (Not that I had any real problems with 1.5.) Here’s the links:

excellent!

I just got it Tom, a most amazing browser (and I didn’t think that 1.5 could be topped [:)])

I’ve had a lot of problems with memory leaks in Firefox 1.5 slowing and/or crashing my systems. Usually had problems with multiple tabs being left open all day, especially sites involving pdf files. My kids are home-schooled with about 30% of their work being done online. Upgraded to 2.0 on Tuesday, so far no crashes. Was planning to upgrade to production version of IE7 soon for the backup browser and MS upgrades, but it looks like the incompatibilities on this site and others are still there for IE7.

spending way too much time on sysadmin and way too little on trains

After about 15 minutes of slow loading, fuzzy fonts, browser crashing, and then having to reboot, I immediately did a system restore, back to IE6, after having upgraded to the IE7. Geez.
