Hi

Happy to report the new ownership team at the former Northwest Short Lines is producing a number of new products under the name of Internet Trains. I was pleasantly surprised to find a long sought after kit to repair a Keystone Locomotive Works Shay in my roster. The price was right and the shipping was prompt.

I see they are also producing METAL bevel gears for the Bachmann Spectrum HO 80 ton Shay models (I have 3 of them) to replace the original plastic parts. I don’t need them yet, but I think I’ll be ordering some of them soon.These gears are also listed in the latest the Walthers catalog.

I am still browsing their online catalog for other items to use on my model railroad. I have exchanged several email messages with them and they have promptly answered my questions. So far, all of my inquiries and dealings with this company have been positive

Secondly, a suggestion: This topuic while rail related is more skewed to the

MODEL RAILROADER interested persons, and would be most appropriate there.

This TRAINS Forum is much more aimed at those interested in the 1’:1’ Scale Railroading![oops]

First, Sam is right. It is model rail news. Second, NWSL still has its own website while Internet Trains was and remains a mail-order/online shop (with some complaints against it, apparently).
