I was just wondering if any of you guys have had trouble with internettrains.com. I have a Bachmann GP50 (Southern) I got from them and in the photo it shows the engine with differnet couplers than I got, a different fuel cell, and there is more detail on the trucks. Have you contacted them? An error like this (there’s only one digit diff. between the two and the price is the same) doesn’t seem egregious to me… Unless they want to not fix the situation for you. Why don’t you see what they’re going to for you and let us know.
the only problem i’ve had with them is it takes sometimes forever for them to ship something…I purchased a bunch of stuff from them and one of the items was on back order…they sat on the entire shipment until the part came in…i waited and waited until i decided to call and that’s when they explained to me they were waiting for that one particular item before they would ship…i went ahead and told them to ship everything and cancel the one item and i got the order in about a week minus the part on back order…that’s the only time i’ve had problems with them…any other time they’ve done well…chuck
They do tend to be slow, I really believe they order from distributors after receiving an order . If I’m wrong so be it. [:X] They do have a good web site for ordering though. Easy to use, Horizon (aka. Athearn) website is way to hard to navigate.
I have been ordering from Internet trains for over 6 months with comnplete satisfaction. If you have a problem call them on the phone. They are great guys, very customer conscious and will resolve it promptly.
InternetTrains is showing an HO scale model in the advertising for the N scale Southern GP50. The Norfolk & Southern GP50 they show is the N scale model. Bachmann has made the same mix-up on their own web site.
I too, have ordered numerous items from them and had good luck. I had a mix up and a reship with no problems getting it taken care of. Call or email them.
