Interview with inventor of self coupling air hoses

I posted a short interview with Cameron Foodikoff, inventor of the HO scale self coupling air hoses, on my blog.

John Longhurst, Winnipeg

Thanks ever so much for this; I’ve bookmarked Cameron’s page & will be contacting him in the very near future!

John, this is a nifty product, to be sure, but by chance, do you know how these are mounted? Are they mounted in the “standard” location - to the right and on the center line of the coupler? Or are they mounted under the center of the coupler box? (The latter would be the easiest way to mount them to ensure reliable operation, but not the best choice for realism, for anything but the most modern of cars and locomotives…)

I don’t know; if you go to the website (link on my blog), you can find Cameron’s e-mail address. You can send him a message with that question.
