Ah yes,… Summer 2008 when some rivers in Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois and North and South Dakota rose as much as 30" or more from heavy rains that pummeled the region in early June. True, not all repairs can be made overnight, as may… be the case on larger railroads. Although I could not phantom the area without the guidance of a map, yes… a map, I still offer all support to regional railroads in an effort to making a solid living in a shakey economy.
