Iowa Pacific acquires ex-Milwaukee Road Skytop sleeping car
The two hiawatha cars that were to be part of a restaurant on a barge were in ERIE,PA.
Once this car is finished, it will probably show up on one of Iowa Pacific’s overnight sleeper operations in which they are partnering with Amtrak (New York-Chicago on the “Lake Shore” and Chicago-New Orleans on the “City of New Orleans”.
I wonder what color scheme it would carry…ideally, it should be in its original MILW maroon/orange, not its later UP yellow.

The cars ended up in Buffalo where the boat was scrapped.
