Iowa Pacific’s Jack Dapkus dies
I met Jack almost immediately after Iowa Pacific acquired Cape Rail in late 2012 and worked with him closely on several projects until his surgery. He was energetic, loyal, inovative and extremely dedicated to his work, his company and the rail industry. We were both looking forward to working together again after his recovery and I shall very much miss that opportunity to work with and learn from Jack.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Dapkus family. Such a great loss for the family and also for this great company, at such a young age, is surely a great loss to all. God Bless!!
