Hello,

I used to get very good service from a fellow named David, who ran the Iron Horse Hobbies, from down in Texas.

I tried emailing him lately and found that the emails are not going through.

Any idea what happened to him or are they in a new location or what? I found their service to be very good and I wouldn’t mind ordering from him again.

A Google search turned up Iron Horse Hobbies in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Pittsburgh, PA but none in Texas, so he must have gone out of business or has no Web site. There no Iron Horse Hobbies listed in Model Railroader or Railroad Model Craftwman magazines, either.

drew where in texas was he located? i live north of dallas. how long ago did tou do business with him??
i and a friend tried to find it some time back and turned up nothing. this would have been dec 2000 early 2001 that we did this.

Thanks for the info guys, I would have bought from him about two years ago now, and I don’t have his receipts with me at this time. I know, I did all the googleing and Walthers dealers list as well. I used to get a little 'surprise ’ in each order, so that was allways nice!! I think his wife was a regular at “The Gauge” so I might have to go log in there for a while.
