Is Express Station which moved to Kent, WA still around?

I believe they’re still open, WalterK. I haven’t been there in two years, maybe more, though. However, I haven’t heard anything through the grapevine that they’ve shut the doors.

ES is essentially closed. The owner occasionally is open part of a Friday and Saturday but he is moving into selling distressed merchandise, not necessarily trains. It’s a sad thing - they used to be a really good hobby shop.

I agree that ES was really nice to deal with. Always pleasant until the last order I had about two years ago. Since then I have had medical problems that kept me out of keeping up with the hobby. I’m finally getting back into it and couldn’t find any reference to ES in the recent Hobby Publications. They always had what I wanted for the niche that I model. Now I see I will need to go to several sources from what I have seen recently.
