Is it all this confusing??

Im new and iv been wondering about some of the wiring and track set up details. Is all the wiering as complicated as it sounds and if someone could please try to explain the diffrence between DC and DCC that would be awsome help.

Basic beginners setups are easy to wire wityh either DC or DCC. if you use the normal beginners approach of a 4x8 oval with a few sidings, you can pretty much just wire 2 leads from the pwoer supply to the track (either DC or DCC). now it get’s mroe complicated when you add crossovers, reversing loops and wanting to run multiple trains (the advantage of DCC over DC).
