I think maybe they’re faded or it’s a light thing. They don’t look blue to me.
The color is off. It’s an easy fix.
It’s an experimental paint scheme, thus the X in GP40X. [;)]
The numbers seem a very dark red on my computer and perhaps it is the effect of the color reproduction on your screen.
Weren’t these on the way to the WP museum for parts for their DDA40X?

My monitor is set for high-res print publishing and they look red-based to me. No blue. Maybe it’s your monitor?
YEA i think it’s just fading of the colors but they do kinda look blue.
They look like they have some red, but i tihnk they do look off, I think its just to much reflected blue off the water.
The lettering, the stripe between the grey and yellow, and the stripe on the sill all look the same color, and I’m seeing an off red - undoubtedly either an exposure problem or a “darkroom” error.
