OK, is it me or has anybody else been able to find the free online bonus your supposed to be able to download from MR that was advertised in “How to Build Realistic Layouts”? I’ve been all over Trains.com and can’t find it.

Thanks guys, I found it. Nicely done I might add. [:)]

Thanks! [swg]
I’m working with MR on doing more of these how-to videos in the future as video PDFs that they will sell standalone (not as a free bonus with an article). Watch MR and their web site for more details in the months ahead … I just make the videos, everything else is up to MR. [swg]
Regarding the problems people are having finding this link, I think it’s darn confusing for MR to have put the link to a Realistic Layouts special issues video on the page featuring the current MR magazine.
Why would people expect to find the bonus video link for a completely different product there? What about a page with the Realistic Layouts cover and the link, or an ad on the side of your site that has “Realistic Layouts bonus video” ? Or at the very least, put a tiny image of the Realistic Layouts cover next to the link in the list if you consider this page to be general news.
In my work as a web designer, if you want people to find something important, you need to make it painfully obvious, not bury it in text on a page that seems to have nothing to do with the item of interest.
Seems to be a bit of boo-boo to me to have the link where it is.
