I have run across a person selling a Lionel Polar Express set, the add-on dining and baggage cars and some additional accessories for a great price.
I already have this set and the add-on cars, BUT IT’S SUCH A GREAT PRICE!
I struggle with buying this set (which I really don’t have room for) or picking it up for a song and then trying to find a place to store it. [banghead]
So, would MORE be LESS … or … would LESS be MORE? My significant other votes for the latter.
You could always buy it and sell it off on EBay next Christmas season for a profit. OR, pass it on to someone in the forum who’s looking for good price [:-^]
I would buy the set, & then invent the accessory(hidden in a tunnel, perhaps?) that adds or subtracts cars from the consist as the journey to the North Pole progresses.
When you find a really great deal that you cant pass up buy it. Then somewhere down the road you ll find someone that really needs on and you give it to them. This way you feel good buying it and feel even better helping someone else` who really needs it.
