I had noticed that Railpower is a publicly traded company, but that thier stocks are not worth much. Are any of the other alternative power locomotive manufactureers like National Railway Equipment Company traded on the stock market and are their stocks at similar prices?
If you google NRE, one of the first statements on the site is “privately owned”.
