Hi, I’m returning to MR after a few years off. Do they publish the schedule of events online, or is it only in
print? If it’s not here is there anywhere else to find train shows, and layout open house information, by state?

Yes – they appear in both locations.
Model Railroader still publishes them in the print version, but charges to do so and has moved the schedule into the “Classified Ads” section, so there are not as many as when they were free.
If you scroll to the very top of this or any other page, there is a RESOURCES tab. Hold your cursor over it and a drop-down menu appears with Coming Events as one of the choices.
They used to post them here until they recently “remodeled” the website. I miss them, too. Thats only one of the disappointments of the new website. They are still working the bugs out. Apparently they didn’t bug check it before they deployed it. But it’s slowly getting better.
