Is there a EZ Track parameter file for Xtrkcad?

It sure would make my live easier.

Try the XTrkCad group on Yahoo. They have a lot of resources in their file section. Also make sure you have the latest version to include any library updates (4.02).

Chris

You asked the same question in the general forum a few days back. Got an answer a few minutes after the question, but apparently did not have the sense to check if you had gotten any answers …

Didn’t you find anything based on the answer you got in this thread from the General Discussion forum?

You can downoad the latest version 4.02 from here.

The XTRKCAD Yahoo group is here.

When you find the parameter file you want don’t double click it. Right click and save it to your computer. Make sure it is in the params directory of XTRKCAD and you should be all set.

Thanks for the kind words, I certainly am an idiot.

Some people evidently have poor people skills.

Indeed. I thought the tone was uncalled for as well. [V]

Oldman, if you are having further issues with XTRKCAD you may feel free to send me a PM and I’ll do whatever I can to help you out. [:)]

Thank you. I did join the Yahoo group and downloaded the files I’ve been looking for.

You are right. I do apologize for the unneccessarily harsh tone.

Thank you. Sometimes one does lose track of all of their postings.

I know that feeling. Here is a tip, btw - these forums have two cool (but not very well announced) ways of keeping track of replies to stuff you post:

  1. On your personal profile (where it says “Update Profile” at top of page) you can click on “Enable email notifications of replies to your post”.

Then you get an email whenever anyone replies to anything you have posted (in any thread).

Personally, I prefer to keep this one to “off”, since I scan the forums often enough (at least once a day) to keep up with running stuff.

  2. But there is also another option - when you post a question in a new thread, there is a button on top of the thread that says “notify”.

If you click on that button, you will get an email notification whenever someone posts anything to that specific thread.

This function I use for seeing if I get any replies when I post a question. Works good for me.

Hope this was more helpful than my last reply to you [:D]

Stein

I use the “My Forums” link which will list all the threads I have posted to. Ones that have received the most recent reply will be at the top. If I have visited since the last reply it is grey, if there is a reply I have not seen its blue. Its a very nice feature I wish more boards had.

Nice one, Chris - thanks for the tip! That one apparently wasn’t in the FAQ (Frequently Asked/Answered Questions) either.
