Years ago (20) there used to be on the other side of a culvert going down Red Hill. I don’t think it’s there any more. I would really like to join a club. A small drive is OK.
I just went to a train show in Altoona that was sponsored by a local club. BUt I don’t have contact info.
Can you tune a Tuna in Altoona ???
Sorry couldn’t resist the old line.

8500HP- You could ask out at the Railroaders Museum, if anyone would know, they would. If they’re still there, Dave out at the Logan Valley Mall (Ye Olde Hobby Shop) would know if one were around.
Tim- Don’t know if it’s still being run but they had an annual bike race in Altoona called the “Tour de Toona” [:D]

With Altonna’s railroad history there MUST be a model railroad club or two in that area. Ask at a local hobby shop. I’ll bet you find more than one club near you. By the way you can tuna a piano but you can’t tuna fish.
None here in Altoona , Fl.

Altoona has many O and N scale Clubs not sure if there is an HO club though! Where are you located? I Know Mt Union is too far to travel!
I think there is one in Somerset, also I think there is one at IUP in Indiana.
a little farther would be Gibsonia, north of Pittsburgh on rt 8.
