I thought I had a guy to do a locomotive painting for me but I never heard from him again. What I want done is a paint job of the NS OCS Train - Office Car Special. I already have the locomotives and the decal set. If anybody here can do this, please let me know, I really want this set. Thank you

I have no relationship or proprietary interest in these people, they have just done some work for me.
This is my LHS. Likewise, I’ve got no financial interest. I’ve seen some very fine work done there, though.
They are not cheap, but they are good.
How complicated is the paint scheme? Do you have a photo? If you already have the decals, you may find that you can do a fairly good job of painting a simple pattern with a few rattle-cans of spray paint and a roll of blue painters’ tape for masking. For the price of a custom paint job, you could be pretty close to buying yourself an airbrush and a compressor, too.
Don’t sell your own skills short. One of the best things about this hobby is the opportunity to learn new techniques, and develop abilities you never knew you had.
This guy painted some of my OMI brass models. The big 3 Unit Gas Turbine you see pictured is mine. He’s CHEAP and does good work. Trust me on this one. The Turbine pictures he did for $500.00. That included all three units, decals, full crew and even installed lighting. If it was me I wouldn’t have touched that monster for under $1500.00. I ALSO have NO affiliation or $$$ interest with this guy. He’s is really good and cheap.
