Attended the annual Old Threshers reunion in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa today. The obvious main attraction is farm stuff, but for me, it is the Midwest Central Railroad (Route of the Woodburners). Purists might complain that there are too many people on the grounds to get a decent shot, but I think the following will show that good pix of steam is possible. The reunion continues tomorrow, I would encourage you to check it out … $12 at the gate, $4 for a roundtrip on the railroad. Plus they have trolleys, and a ton of steam tractors, etc.
