Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol dangerous?

A lot of kids didn’t.

Midnight Railroader I realize that, but I was referring to those of us who are still alive! I just really don’t concern myself so much with harmful products these days, I read the label and abide by the directions. Right now in my trainroom, I don’t do anything that could catch fire by flammable vapor, cause I know better. It’s in a store front with only a space heater that is gas fired with a pilot light. If I need to use liquid flammable materials I either go to the garage or outside. I think they call it common sense.

Oh by the way, I got to start a thread…Train show this weekend in Bridgeport, West Virginia at Meadowbrook Mall just off rt 79 exit 121.

If you live in California, EVERYTHING causes cancer, even DHMO. The warning sign at the border says so.

I think the point is that ANYTHING can be made harmful if misused. As my kids’ pediatrician says, “If you feed a lab rat enough of anything, it will develop some strange condition.” This while using forceps to remove a piece of foam rubber from my son’s ear canal… yes, a piece of a Nerf dart.

No, I’m not going to sue the makers of Nerf products because some wise-acre second grader can figure out a way to injure – or at least inconvenience – himself with their product (my son did have to pay for the doctor’s visit out of his own pocket – was that cruel?).

Seldom used scientific name for WATER.

No kidding? Really?

Glad you were here to point that out, otherwise, people might have had fun with a joke.

But there’s one on every board.
