Yes, they have a week for those of us who run trains, if you’re willing to go by the title alone.
Unfortunatley, I don’t think they mean that type of Engineer. Along the same vein, how many know that November is National Model Railroad Month? It does’t get much publicity.
Yeah, I know. I work for a company that does engineering, plus lots of paper pushing.
Isn’t November when they have Bring Your Train To Work Week?
Hey, I’m an engineer, and nobody even sent me flowers.
Must’ve gotten lost in all the President’s Day hoopla.
I am not sure which is more lonely these days, being a fire protection PE or modeling in HOn30.

Officially, it is for the OTHER kind of engineers, but…
when I was in college, the engineering student society, which promoted the celebration on campus, handed out railroad-style engineer’s caps. A bit silly, yes, but no worse than freshman beanies or some other such business!
Seeing as how it is National Engineer’s week, everyone has to be nice to me, 'cause I is one.[swg]
E-week…
Oh the memories from the College of Engineering…
Happy e-week everyone.
