Once again, the annual week of July 4 Reading Railroad Days at the Railroad Museum of PA, in Strasburg (across from the railroad). I will be there all week, July 2-8, witht he Reading Company Technical and Historical Society and our now nearly 160 foot long modular layout. DCC, all working signals, dispatcher operation via JMRI. Several new modules are making their debut, so come on by and say hi, I’ll be there every day. If I’m not running trains I’ll be working on something, got a few projects to take along to work on.
for the weekend

Randy, sorry not to be there that week, but my grandson & I will be there in August and do the Strasburg RR, PA museum, local hobby shops, etc (as time permits). Can’t wait.
Since Im only a few miles up the road from there and I will have a 4 day weekend.......maybe Ill stop down and say hello.
Randy, wish I could visit the Museum, and Hamburg, and see the modular layout. Counting on you for a video posted soon thereafter. [8-|]
just a few days to go! Haven’t done much with trains for the past few months so I’m getting excited.

Video Please Randy. “Have a ball”[:D]
Cheers, the Bear.
I’m thinking I’ll drop by as well! Strasburg isn’t much of a drive from Lancaster
Randy, are there any specific days/times you will be there?
I’ll be there the whole time, this is my annual summer vacation. Setup is Monday the first, not much to see. Sunday the 8th is the last day and teardown, so unless you come early, some stuff will already be put away. I’m generally there the entire time the museum is open, I think it’s 9-5, every day of the show. Since this is the big local show we get the most turnout member-wise, so there’s always someoen running stuff - enough that we take turns, which is good, since with the size of the layout, runnign for a couple of hours at a time is a nice long walk.
So, any day, I’ll be there. My usual guess is that Tusday will be the smallest crowds, the 4th is often busy, and Saturday will also be very busy.
