I have an Ives 70 baggage car from 1922, that had AF slot and tab couplers. They broke in shipping however. A), How would this have happened? And B), Where can I get replacement AF couplers or Lionel Latch couplers that I can mount onto the car?
I’d try www.henningstrains.com. They have replacement parts for Lionel tinplate, possibly they can cover American flyer as well. Wouldn’t hurt to ask.
