Ives Pre War Banked Turn Track - Value & I.D. Needed - Anyone Want to Trade for it?

I was wondering if there is anything rare or desireable about Ives Prewar track with the banked turns? I know Lionel “T Rail” track costs a fortune to buy.

I found 7 sections of Ives? (4 straight and 3 curved) in a big box of used Lionel O-31 I bought. They are in average “need to be restored / freshened up no bad rust” condition, one curve has a split at the end of the rail, its good for parts or repair or to make a custom cut section out of it.

The track has dark green ties - 3 ties per section - it is stepped where the rails mount - and it has no mounting holes in the ties…they also do not have a name stamped on them, however it does not look like any of the banked american flyer track I have seen in photos. The ties are wedge or pie shaped when viewed from above.

I dont really have a need for this track, I would like to trade it for vintage U.S. made N.Y. stamped Lionel “O” gauge track in simmilar restorable condition - I Need 3 sections of O-72 and 2 sections of O-54 to finish a postwar layout I am building.

If interested in an even trade email me at rack776@yahoo.com I’d also consider buying the Lionel track I need if anyone has it as long as it is at “local trainshow prices” and not “ebay prices” LOL!

Thanks for the help- Jason
