Jarrell’s Show Me Something for November 2025

I recognize that switcher loco! It’s gas-turbine basis is in my local railway museum! Speaking of that museum…

Here is my model of Frisco 1522. It holds a special place in my heart, as I got to ride behind the real deal before she was permanently retired from excursion duty in the early 2000’s. The real-world counterpart engine resides at the Museum of Transportation in St Louis, Missouri.
EDIT: Just realized the theme had changed - sorry!

Here’s my tall brick building - a factory ! Show me more buildings!

I’m thankful to have 3 Standard Gauge gondolas. (Gondolii?)

An all original green 512.

An incorrectly repainted 512 in peacock blue wearing 517 caboose number plates. (I liked it enough to pay fifty bucks for it )

And a 112 Lake Shore gondola I repainted in red with a light heather green interior. I also added 4 self adhesive Pennsy style Lionel Lines plates usually used on Lionel’s 392, 385 and 1835 Standard Gauge locomotives. (And latch couplers set to meet 500 series height requirements.)

More loaded cars please!
