Jiffy - Railer

The Jiffy Railers arrived today and they are just great. When compared to what is on my layout they make me want to rip the old ones out. They are every bit as good as described on Cody’s Office. Ordinarily I hesitate to indorse a product but these are for real.

PS: I’m in no way connected with Jiff-Railer, LLC.

I notice that their HO scale model is for Code 100, and N-scale is for Code 80. Any idea how these would work on, for example, Code 83? And how long are they?

Mr B,

The HO version is for code 100 and is just under 5 inches long. @ $7.95 / pkg of 3 and the N is for code 80 @ $5.95 / pkg of 3.

Hope this helps

Mr B.

The Railers will only fit the track they were designed for. This picture will give a size comparison.

The N one is for code 80 and must be sanded down for code 55 and work okay.

It may work great, but boy, it’s still as ugly as the old style re-railers, which means hidden trackage only! [:O]

At least with the older style you can kinda hide them in a grade crossing
