Jiffy-Railers

I saw an ad for Jiffy-Railers in MR, and was wondering if anyone has used them for HO scale and what they think of them. I have discovered that I could possibly use some rerailers in certain areas and do not want to tear up any track, and these Jiffy-Railers might be just the answer. Thanks in advance for any comments.

I haven’t used them, but Looks great.

I checked out their site. http://www.jiffyrailer.com/Home_Page.html

As long as you only have code 100 trackage.

I can perhaps see trip pins getting caught on them though?

I would also be very careful tapping a nail into place so as not to warp the rails causing deraliments.

I wonder if they can do that for code 83?

The site says they’re going to have a code 83 anytime now.

Looks to be quite cost effective.

For what’s it worth I have a pair for code 100 track and use them mainly for puttiing cars on the track. Cars pass over them without any problems.

They work just fine.

The Code 83 are apparently available now…I have asked my LHS to bring some in.

Seems the Code 83 are different in that they are multiple pieces glued up in a jig to fit either Code 83 or Code 100 or so forth.

See the website info.

Pls. let me know if any of you have already tried these Code 83 kits.
