Now this is what toy trains are all about, great job.
grt layout
Wow … now that is a holiday train display for the record books. Fabulous! An excellent job of capturing it on video and narration as well. Raises the bar for all of us for this next holiday season. Thank you for sharing.
Thats terrific. How great you still have the old models from the 50’s and 60’s. Can’t believe you take down and set up on a “seasonal” basis.
Fantastic!!
Lots of action, creativity and fun-congrat’s!
Very nice layout - reminds me of the old department store layouts I used to see at Christmas when I was a kid many years ago!
Ah! To be your grand child. Nice.
Wow!!! Forget the large radii curves. Have some fun in your space.
Very impressive!
Great layout , hope to get mine there
What does a layout like that cost?
Awesome!! How long does it take to set it up?
GREAT TO SEE THE OLD TRAINS NICE JOB
I appreciate the time and effort in producing your video. Hopefully, Classic Toy Trains will publish a simple track plan including the guage of each line. N scale for the circus is a great idea.
I enjoyed all the different types of trains. It’s great that you have been able to maintain and protect your collection of older trains all these years. I am sure that everyone who has seen this display, had a great big smile on his or her face from ear to ear. I know I did! It brought back some good childhood memories. Thanks for sharing!
What a great display! Watching all the action and seeing all the trains run at the same time just made me smile. It’s the same effect these trains had on me when I was a kid watching them in the department store window downtown. Its what got me hooked and keeps me hooked today. Thanks for your work and for sharing the video.
Phillip. Glad you enjoyed his layout. It was rather impressive. May I clarify one thing, that is that I doubt that what you saw was purchased at one time. Most likely you are looking at many decades of purchases. I truly doubt that many of us could afford to do something like that all at once. There is an old country western song “One Piece at a Time”. It’s about a guy working for GM and over the years taking a part to a car home every few months and it tells about what he built from all those decades of parts. Most of our layouts are like that. You start small and slowly build. More often than not tooooooo slowly. LOL. Get your feet wet or at least your toes and try something simple and go from there buying “One Piece at a Time”.
GREAT LAY OUT, THE KIDS WILL ENJOY IT AS I DID.
