For those of you not familiar with JJ’s work, it is mostly black and white, cultivated while growing up along the old W&LE and other coal haulers in the area, and expanded upon as an instructor of visual aids and photography at Broome (County, NY) Community College during the late 60’s through the 80s. Thus the EL, D&H, and LV are prominent among his works, his roots of WVA are probably the better part of this exhibit. His name can be found near many photos’ in TRAINS and other publications and books through the years noted.
